Access to IE password-protected directory by form?
I've recently discovered that IE has for some time now disallowed use of the "user:password@site.com" URL syntax for logging in to a password-protected directory.
That said, is there any remaining way to create a link or login form that will enable access to a .htaccess-protected directory -- bypassing the default username/password popup -- from a Web page on Windows Internet Explorer?
