Pc cillin crashes during the scan

I have a system that, during the PC-Cillin scan every night it crashes. Pc cillin is finding a adware - best offers bug but it will not clean it. I have tried to uninstall and reload pccillin but am having no luck. The PC is running XP PRO SP 2 and is fully up to date.  I have attached my Hijack this log file.

Try upgrading to the 2008 version. I found that you can use the product key you've got with your 2007 version will activate the 2008 version. Then run the scan again.

If it still doesn't remove the adware, try installing the free version of http://www.superantispyware.com/

if it's a recent issue, then try scanning in safemode to clean the system.
and then check out if it still crashes in normal mode during scanning?

edwardwassman,
I am not an HijackThis expert, but it appears as though you are running multiple anti-virus (AV) applications. IF that is true, uninstall all but one.

Your AVG anti-spyware (AS) is an excellent product.

Clear out all of your Temp/Junk files with something like CCleaner (www.ccleaner.com).

Pick one AV product, make sure it - and AVG - are updated, then re-boot to Safe Mode and do a complete hard drive scan of both.
