Follow the steps as outlined by War1, but remove the the existing address book because it is not mapped properly.  Then continue as war1 as recommened.

kind4me,

I deleted the existing (otherwise empty) address book then I selected the old outlook.pst file but don't contain any address book. Maybe both were connected to the Outlook and while deleting the address book this book was deleted too. I don't know.

It is interessant. Before reinstalling my C: drive I copied it to D: and from here was restored onto C:. And outlook did show the e-mails 100% but the address book not. Maybe it was corrupt. I don't know.

Now I'm sure my adress book is away. I have to reconstruct it unfortunately.

Thanks for your support. I accept your suggestion maybe somebody can use this procedure in the future.
