Text to Speech in .NET 2.0 with Visual Studio 2005

Quite a few years ago I played around with text to speech in VB6, and was amazed that with about 15 minutes research and about 6 lines of code i had a working application.

Now I need to make something in a .NET 2.0 app, but am finding it almost impossible to find a simple explanation and/or example of how to do this.

Thanks, that might work.  However, does anyone know of a way to do this that doesn't involve adding an animation of some kind to the screen?

Thanks, that first link to CodeProject.com is exactly what I needed.  A description and source code that made it easy to use TTS in my own project.  I'll split the points as both of you did provide valid solutions.
