Compile java app into one app file

Hi,

I have a java executable (jsut runs in a command shell). I want to give it to a friend to run, but it has many external dependencies. Is there some way to compile it such that all the dependencies are stored inside some output executable file I can give to them to run? They obviously won't have all the support libraries I'm using.

Thanks

To the best of my knowledge JAR's package all dependencies for proper program execution.

Make an executable jar with all your class files, you have written..

and use your jar manifest to put the classpath of other jars
