how to run aircrack and airfart and kismet

I have mandriva 2008 and I have installed aircrack, airfart, and kismet.  Now with airfart, airfart does not see any wifi networks, any reason why?  I have no clue how to run aircrack and kisment.  Does anyone know how?

Is your wifi card is compatible with the Prism driver?  Airfart can't detect anything if it can't talk to the wifi card.

The easiest way to check is by testing Aircrack

airmon-ng wifi0 start //this should set your card to monitor mode

airodump-ng wifi0 //this should list all the wifi networks and the workstations using the APs

I am using ndiswrapper and the built in dell wireless broadcom card 1390
