i am trying to configure the php with mysql on centos 5 but unable to configure it

i am new to the linux env. and i am trying to configure the php mysql and httpd on centos5 . problem is httpd came installed with the os isntalltion i installed the php with yum command

yum install php mysql mysql-server php-gd php-mysql

php start working ok

but in the php info i see that mysql is not configured with php

i tryed to find teh ./configure file in the centos for php but i couldent find it.
 here is what i get in php info

i need some was to configre the installed php and httpd to work with mysql without reinstalling it i ned a way to reconfigure the packages installed with yum.

install the missing package php-mysql and restart the webserver. then mysql-support should be available

might be:
yum install php-mysql
or
yum install php5-mysql
