Find out how many emails sent and recieved internally

Our current Exchange system is active/passive in an Cluster environment. Is there anyway to find out how many emails are sent/recieved internally over a period of time ie, month, weeks, day etc. At present we only recieve stats on External emails sent/recieved from out External mail filter company, but nothing for internal emails. Is there a tool that we can do this or a option on Exchange System manager that would display total emails sent/recieved internally?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I don't think there is any easy way to find out the count of internal or external email in exchange. You can use Message Tracking logs  to find out all the details of the internal and external emails stored in the shared folder named "Exchnage server.LOG". You need to open the logs with Access db and manually count using filters in db.
