"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Picasa is free. You can find it by searching for Picasa in Google. You can upload huge albums and even send a link to multiple recipients so they can view your album. You can make the albums either public (anyone can see) or private (only those you invite can see). I like it.

you can do offline as well as online with Picasa as Daydreams reports. You can print individual pix or send an entire folder to a folder on your hard drive to print later. It can sort by year for easy location, and by specific folder names too.

and I forgot to mention, Picasa has some great editing tools too. There are 3 tabs (Basic Fixes, Tuning, and Effects). Basic has 7 options, Tuning has 4+ options, and Effects has 12 different effects you can apply (Sepia, B&W, Soft Focus,etc.). You can create a photo collage from a folder you are looking at. Lots more and free!

I own an Olympus Stlyus 1000 digital camera. Olympus has a software program that accompanies the camera, now at version 2.0 called Olympus Master. I use it for all my digital camera work and it operates very much like Picasa. I don't know if it is "free" and to try to download it from Olympus can be vexing. Once you have it, it automatically updates itself before every use.
Thanks for the opportunity to share and thanks for the points!
