SBS 2003 ServerHow many CAL's in use ?

Guys,

How can you tell how many CAL's are being used on SBS 2003 ADVANCED? It's very annoying exchange is down again, and we've purchased 10 more licenses, making 20....there are only 20 people in the office and yet it complains....any ideas?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

From the Server Management in the Start Menu
Click on the Licensing link and you will see an Install License and a Maximum usage.

Your maximum should be less than your Installed license. What are your figures here?

CAL's can be per user or per device. If a user connects with a PC, laptop, and a mobile device, in per device mode, that is 3 licenses.
