We are unable to send some attachments with emails.  Very small attachments e.g. 40b seem to be able to be sent without a problem.  However some PDF files (e.g. 130kb) or some Word doc (e.g. 150kb) are not able to be sent.  Some are sent and at other time some are not sent.  We are not getting any undeliverable notices and nothing is stuck in a queue on the server.

We are using SBS 2003 R2

Are you able to see where the email is going by using the Tools in Exchange System Manager.

You can select your server, recepient, and from address. This should locate the email that was sent out and you will be able to view details on the route it took out from your server.

Do you send to a mail relay or directly out by DNS?

It appears that the emails with attachments are not being sent.  I have attached a bmp showing its progress and where the tracking has stopped.  I would have thought I would be able to find the email in a queue somewhere, but it seems to have been deleted or I am looking in the wrong place - which is likely!

Use 1 DNS server in SBS Wizard and not 2
