Upgrading to Visual Studio 2008

I have been using visual studio 2005 since it was released for both web and windows application development without any issues.  I am thinking of upgrading to visual studio 2008 and am wondering what kind of feedback I could get here.   Has anybody had any issues?  Should I stick with vs2005 for the time being?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I am using VS2008 for web and windows application. So far i have not found any issue except that the application will need .NET Framework 3.5 installed on the computers running it.

I understand about the framework.   Does the vs2008 installation do a upgrade to vs2005 or does it new a totally new installation?

It will be a totally new installation. And you can run both i.e. VS 2005 and VS 2008 side by side.
