In my home pc, i wanna install MS SQL Server 2005. i am having Windows XP Professional SP 2 OS. I have tried to load the SQL Server 2005 Developer Edition. But after that installation, i can't view the Enterprise Manager, Query Analyzer anything. Only starting services.

Which edition will be best to install in Windows XP SP2. i wanna learn SQL Server 2005.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Do you see Management Studio? This is Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer in one. If not, run the setup again and choose Workstation Components.

There is no Management Studio. My PC is stand alone PC and its not connected to any network. I wanna install SQL Server 2005 and run all in the same PC for my learning purpose.

Please advice
So run the setup again and choose Workstation Components from available features.
