Event Error ID: 1419  shows up on our RID/PDC. that DC is also our infrastructure master and its GC too. all DC`s in our domain are GC.

im just wondering if i should remove the GC functionality from that DC?

the error message indicates to do so, but im not quite sure about it.

anyone an idea?

If you take a look at Knowledge Base article #251095 it explains your problem exactly. You have two soloutions either move the Infrastructure Update Master FSMO role to another DC or move the Global Catalog role to another DC.

i guess, the second one is easier and makes more sense.

all our domain controllers are already global catalogs, so it would be probably better to just remove the GC on the infrastructure master
