folder permission and inheritence

i need to give folder permission 2003 server and how can i giveseperate  permission in sub folders

Create a folder and apply the permission you wish.

Then create a subfolder and right mouse click the subfolder and click properties. Then click the security tab.

Then click the "advanced" button and uncheck the "inherit from parent..."
