Can't save Business Objects Webi reports when finished compiling..

Okay so the deal is, this web based application which is often called Webi, or Business Objects, or even InfoView, creates reports based off of various data it has access to. When these reports are compiled they can then be saved via an excel file, or pdf.

Now my problem is that only a few of these reports will save, the majority will not. The report will compile fine, however when I try to save to my computer the saving animation plays infinitely and the document never saves to my computer. This is a Vista computer and there's no third party firewall or antiviral software running I believe.

Any suggestions? Check the browser settings?

Are these reports you have built?

Can you display the reports?

No these are pre-made reports by the company I work for, however a few just won't save to excel format on this one Vista computer. I'm thinking somethings wrong in the IE7 settings but I have no idea what. It looks like it wants to save, the animation plays, but then it just.. doesn't. Weird.
and yes I can display the reports on screen fine
I don't know of any settings.  Can this user save the reports on other machines?

Can these reports be saved on other machines?
