Is there a way to create a backup of a backup automatically?

I have an LTO3 tape library. Daily I have a scheduled differential backup setup to run. I am trying to see if there is a way that I can configure backup exec to automatically create a backup of a backup. Essentially what I need to configure is that as soon as my initial backup completes, Backup Exec then immediately copies that backup to another tape in the library. Now I am not sure even if it supports such an action or if my device is capable of doing so. I am using a Dell PowerVault 124 LTO3 library that has only one drive. Unfortunately due to the shear volume of data I am dealing with I cannot first create a backup locally then back that up to two volumes. At the moment my backup size is about 500GB and grows an average of 10GB daily. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Follow the article to create a DUPLICATE of your ORIGINAL job
You can set it to backup the backup sets created by the original as soon as the original finishes

Hi jojuez,

My advise would be to do a tape to tape copy.

Create a Job. Instead of type "COPY" select "DUPLICATE" this will create a new catalog entry with the new volume ID (so you can restore from the new tape) and then logically copy the data to the new tape volume.

Hope this helps,

Ian
