ASKER

Thanks but the DNS server is not configured correctly on a SBS 2003 server
When you run

nslookup www.google.com

from command line, what do you see?
this is what I see:

Microsoft Windows [Version 5.2.3790]
(C) Copyright 1985-2003 Microsoft Corp.

H:\>nslookup www.google.com
*** Can't find server name for address 192.168.50.2: Non-existent domain
Server:  UnKnown
Address:  192.168.50.2

Non-authoritative answer:
Name:    www.l.google.com
Addresses:  216.239.51.104, 216.239.51.99
Aliases:  www.google.com
