It means something is still hanging onto the DB.  Do you have AV or Anti-spam running still?

Is the DB still mounted?  You need to dismount the DB and stop all Exchange services

It's running, I did not relize you had to type the DB name in the path also. I ASSUMEd it would just find the exchange DB and run. Do I need to run it on the priv1.STM also?

Just the edb file.

eseutil /d "D:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\Mailbox\First Storage Group\Mailbox Database.edb"

And use the quotes as above if there are spaces in the path or filename.

Take a backup before running this!!!

You need to dismount the DB prior to run eseutil

It is dismounted!  He forgot a comma in his question.
" i receive the 1032 error, DB is not mounted and no exch sevices running"

If you look at the code, the path is incorrect when launching eseutil.
