To the best of my knowledge you can do it in CR XI but it will require a Crystal license for each user since you are essentially giving them the ability to create reports.

I haven't done it but you can provide them with a basic designer or simply use formulas to place the fields on the report.

What is the purpose?
My personal opinion is that is providing too much flexibilty to the user.  If that is what is need it would probably be best to give them thier own copies of Crystal and let them design the reports they want.  That also means they will be able to select or filter out data to support their agenda.

Hi mlmcc,

It is mean we can not do it dynamically from coding. Do CR XI not support to do so ?

What about if we have already put all the fields into CR designer and the user just select what they want to print. Then the coding just hiding not needed to print fields.

Could it also rearrange the columns of the fields? Like datagridview, we could hide and move a columns?

Thank you.

You can do the hiding through code or through conditional suppression.  However the blank space will still be in the report. The other fields won't move.

Here is a question where they changed the value of a formula or the field it returned.  You could do it this way.  Remember that all fields will have to be similar in size.

Could you move the header and details columns of report?

Thank you.

Not through Crystal.  The only way would be through code which may require the licenses for each user.
