Outbox and Sent Items

One of my users, when she sends emails they stay in the outbox and don't move to sent items?

The emails are sending so that is not a problem.

I have rebooted the server - any ideas?

They emails eventually go?  Does she has to push send receive?
Have her check tools>options>mail setup tab then make sure the check mark is on send immediately when connected

The emails are sent striaght away - but never leave the Outbox or go into sent items.

Its not a tools : options issue - If I open the exhange mailbox on another PC it also shows the same thing
Did the users settings change as far as security?
Go into Active Diectory users and computers then click view and advanced options.
Find that user in AD and then go to the security tab then look at the self object and make sure it has send as permission.

No settings have changed

I check the security settings and SELF has Send As
What happens with this user if you send through OWA instead of the outlook client?  Same issue?

If I try and manually move the messages to the Sent Items - I get the following error: Can't move the items. The item could not be moved. It was either already moved, or deleted, or access was denied
How many messages are in her sent items folder? Have you tried emptying or moving mails from sent items to another folder, to see if it resolves the problem?

116 mails - I just created a new folder and moved all the outbox items to the new folder without any issues, however when I send a new email they still stay in the outbox but send - I have test internal email and external addresses

Other thing to try are some switches when Outlook opens:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe" /resetfolders may do the trick
