Boot Windows 3.1 from USB?

Simple question, not sure if it's a simple answer- is it possible to boot Windows 3.1 from a USB flash drive?  I have a valid install for Windows 3.1 and boot disks.  Is this at all possible?

I have the different dos versions and drivers, I'm curious which version of DOS would work best.  I used the dos files from a 98 boot disk but it says the version is incompatible.  I'm thinking its too high because I tried DOS 7.1 and it was still not compatible.

which drivers am i looking for? drivers for the usb drive for dos? or for win3.1?
I've got it working beautifully.  You have to use HP's usb format tool, and drive key utility as well.  Then load on DOS 6.22 with the format tool mentioned above, throw the windows 3.1 files to the usb stick root, boot and type c:\setup.exe and away you go.  The once installed upon boot type c:\win.  Booting Windows 3.1 from USB= EPIC WIN!!!1
