Errors installing Office 2007

Has anyone ran across this error while installing Office 2007. (Error 1335. The cabinet file ExcelLR.CAB required for the installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD ROM, a problem with this package.)

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Did you download the files and then burn them to disc/disk (do you mean CD/DVD or hard disk?) or is this a retail disc? Also, are you running the setup from the setup.exe or by double-clicking an .msi file?

Hello rorya

Thanks for responding. I am using a retail CD. And using the setup.exe.

Can you copy the files to disk and run them from there? If not, can you get a replacement disc from the vendor in case that one is faulty?
