No autorun.inf files found - no files are hidden - still get error message "Please go to the Control Panel to install and configure system components"..please help

Am trying to access few networked drives . but i get the above error for all network drives. IK have checked for autorun.inf file but i cannot find it in those drives nor any setup files or exe files.  I am doing all these from administrator account.

I did see the same question been asked and closed in experts - exchange but it was of no help. Please help me out from first.

Thank you,
Harry Siva

Well, I don't know anything about network drives but can you access the drives okay when you right-click them and click "Explore"? Also, I'm not sure if Windows will still read autorun.infs if they have the hidden attribute. Do have have Windows set to show hidden files and system files? To do it, open a folder, click the "Tools" menu, click "Folder Options...", click "Show hidden files and folders",  uncheck "Hide protected protected operating system files (Recommended)", click "Yes", and click "OK. Then make sure that there are no autorun.inf files in the drives. Also, have you checked:
