That .dll belongs to the Brightstor backup program - it is the agent software that allows Exchange databases to be backed up using Brightstor (Arcserve). I know that older versions of the software used this .dll, although I'm not sure about more recent versions, as we've switched to using Backup Exec at most of our sites. Are you using Arcserve/Brightstor software to back up Exchange?  If so, I'd recommend uninstalling and reinstalling the agent on that computer.

Yes, we are using ArcServe BrightStore 11.5
Well, then, your Exchange backups on that server are probably failing. I would do an uninstall of the agent, reboot and then reinstall the agent, making sure you are using the same release version as the version that's being run on your media server.

yes, they are failing. I called ArcServe tech support and they asked me to repair Exchange Database. They think Database is causing this failure.
Please advise.
It would have been good to have that information to begin with.  If you have gone through the less invasive troubleshooting step of uninstalling and reinstalling the Arcserve software, then they may be right.  However, if you are not seeing any other errors or problems with your Exchange data, I would be very wary of doing any kind of repair steps on your Exchange database just on their say-so.  Are you getting any other Exchange-related errors?

Yes, I am receiving following errors too:
"MSExchangeSRS (2012) SRS Storage: Database recovery failed with error -1216 because it encountered
references to a database, 'C:\Program Files\Exchsrvr\SRSDATA\srs.edb', which is no longer present.
The database was not brought to a Clean Shutdown state before it was removed
(or possibly moved or renamed). The database engine will not permit recovery to complete for this instance
until the missing database is re-instated. If the database is truly no longer available and no longer required, procedures for recovering from this error are available in the Microsoft Knowledge Base or by following the ""more information"" link at the bottom of this message. "

Hi,

Please check if the SRSdata is file. SRS is site replication service database. Please look at this microsoft article which talks about recovering a SRSdatabase if we have a backup.

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123802(EXCHG.65).aspx

The SRS might exisit when you have a mixed of exchange 2000 and exchange 5.5. If you no longer have mail boxes in exchange 5.5 then you can dismout the srs store and also modify your backup job to exclude the SRS from backup.

This is a issue with the exchange and needs to be resolved. or else exclude the SRS from backup. On the top of it, ARCserve in your environment is running on 11.5 sp2 build id 4232 please upgrade arcserve to 11.5 sp3 build id 4402 from the CA website or Techsupport will provide you with the link for download
