Hotspare - How to use it to rebuild a LUN

I have a CX300 SAN and got disk 7 which went bust. I need to use the hotspare to fix the failing LUN. What is the method? Do i physically remove it from disk 15 and put it onto disk 7 or is there a method using Navisphere?

Thanks

It should pickup automatially.  If you have multiple arrays is the hotspare part of the array in which the LUN failed?

I only have 1 disk as a hot spare... what should i do? I want to use the hot spare to replace the broken disk.

Matthew
Definitely don't remove the hot spare and try to put it into the failed disk's slot.  It should begin rebuiding from exactly where it is.  In Navisphere, right-click on your array serial number and click "Disk Summary."  What is the state of your hot spare?

The state is enabled and I just noticed also that it says that it is replacing Disk:0-0-7 which is the faulty Disk, so I assume that the mirror is being rebuilt.

hotspare started rebuilding automatically, then when we replaced the disk i initiated the rebuild onto the newly added drive.
