Motherboard back-panel not matching up with case?

I recently bought all components to build 2 new workstations. I have replaced the included back-plate of the case with the one provided and the motherboard will not match up. The back-panel is way too low (and yes, im using the provided stand-offs). I am just wondering if anyone has run into this? It's really bugging me (I have built numerous computers, using this same case and nothing like this has ever happend).

If it's way too low, maybe the standoffs you are using should not be used - there are nylon ones that mount lower than the brass ones.
