My printer shows as offline, can't ping IP.

I have an HP 2300N printer attached to my network, with a reserved IP and and shared to everyone else via my DC.

The printer shows as being as offline and I have no idea why.  It is powered up and the ready light is solid green.  I am at a loss to see what the problem is.

On my DC under dns managment I do show two record with the same IP.  One is my printer and the other I haven't a clue what it is.  It only says NPIE22F0D.

Any help is appeciated.

Also I can not seem to use the web interface on the printer to check my settings but that is probably because I can't even ping that IP.

Help!

As it turns out I had a bad network card that was causing the issues.  It was the hp jetdirect 615n and after some research it turns out this card has a bad failure rate and has been discontinued.
I solved it myself, but giving points for trying.
