Router Configuration

I am throughly confused...I have inherited this router.  The configuration doesn't look too bad to my untrained mind however I have the following problems:

I can't ping the internal network from the router.
I can't ping the internal network interface on the router from the internal network
I can't seem to be able to telnet to the box at all.

I would be more than happy to wipe the config and start again - but I am not sure why this one doesn't work.

Thanks in advance

IS this in production?  If so is it working?   assume that you xxx'ed out the ip.

IP NAT OUTSIDE is for the external (WAN) port not the internal one.

NO MOP ENABLE is an old command for maintenance, what model do you have?

Check that and let me know.

ASKER

It is going to be production and no it is not working.

I have removed the "ip nat outside"

I have a Cisco 1841 - and I don't know anything about the MOP enable.  Is this safe to remove?

It was used for VOIP in the past.  If I wanted to completely wipe the config what would I do.  I have console access
Follow these steps:

Log on to your router, and enter the privileged EXEC mode by entering ENA and password.
Enter CONFIG T to go to Global Configuration Mode.
Enter CONFIG-REGISTER 0x2102.
Enter END, and then
Enter the WRITE ERASE command to delete the current startup configuration on the router.
Enter RELOAD to reload the router.
When the system asks whether you want to save the configuration, enter NO.
When the router reloads, it will reset back to the original factory defaults.

I've just discovered the switch was VLANed and that was causing th router to be inaccessible from the network.

Apologies for wasting your time.
