Upgraded my Windows 2000 domain controller to a new Windows 2003 server

I made the switch over this weekend and today I am having a couple of problems.

Old Server: Windows 2000 Advanced Server (domain controller)

Exchange Server: Windows 2003 Server R2 (Exchange 2003)

New Server: Windows 2003 Enterprise Server R2

Over the last 2 weeks I have been moving all the domain configuration from my Old 2000 Server over to my new server giving plenty of time for replication (days). After I migrated all the data from the old server to the new server this weekend I shut down the windows 2000 server and left it alone.

However I have noticed the following today when I came in.

1.      I can no longer access the exchange mailbox functions from the Users & computers screen on the New Windows 2003 server (the exchange tabs on properties of the users just is not there), HOWEVER if I log into the Exchange server and launch users and computers there I can see the exchange mailbox tabs.
a.      I know with windows 2000 I had to install an LDAP connector to be able to talk between Exchange 2003 and Windows 2000 (maybe this was required as part of my upgrade from Exchange 5.5 some years back, dont remember)
2.      Twice today after I rebooted a workstation I was not able to log into Exchange Server. Each time I tried Outlook seemed it was going to work, and then all of a sudden outlook closed and told me that my exchange server was down. This stayed like this until I restarted all the exchange server services. Then I was able to get into my Outlook mailbox.

Thanks

1.  Install Exchange System Management tools from Exchange Server CD.
a.. Not sure what the problem is here, but you don't need the connector with E2003/W2003.
2. Check to ensure your new 2003 server is a global catalog using sites and services.

Thank you for the reply....

1. That is the info i needed...  Thank you, this is now fixed.
a. I did not think so with Server 2000 and exchange 2003

2.  Yes the new server is a Global Catalog server. However it is not the same as the Exchnage Server... that is a complete other server with no domain roles on it at all.
a.  Still don't think a connection agreements is necessary with Server 2000 and Exchange 2003.
2.  Try netdiag on the Exchange server and client.  Then DCDIAG on the domain controllers.  What does your DNS toplogy look like?
a.   Yes it was not needed and i removed that from the list

2. This is the netdiag from the exchange server
