Which References belong to an object or control ?

Hi experts. I've converted some VB6 code to VB.Net and I have three errors. The good news is that I have a version of the vb.net code which works, the bad news is that it takes too long to load, so I need to recreate the references, etc.

The errors are: Type 'AxMSComCtl2.AxDTPicker' is not defined.
Type 'AxMSDataGridLib.AxDataGrid' is not defined.
Type 'AxMSWinsockLib.AxWinsock' is not defined.

How can I tell what needs to be installed to get these controls to work ?. I've tried installing everything the same as the working code, but something must still be missing.

Do you want to keep those COM controls, or switch to use the VB.NET controls, like DateTimePicker, DataGrid, DataGridView, ...?

Well, I worked out how to get the controls over using COM controls. I just made cut down version of the code and upgraded. But it would be nice to how how to move those controls over as I want to remove all unnecssary/redundant com controls.
You will find it much easier not using COM controls.  It depends on what you are using the controls for that will dictate what you need to know, and how I can help you to that end.

I'd like to use a date picker, attached to a textbox or dropdown box.
