Hi,
thanks for your response.
the following link http://www.intermedia.net/support/kb/default.asp?id=777
which you have sent, I have gone through. Is this a third party software which you are suggesting?
I wanted to display multiple profiles simultaneausly in outlook as we do it in lotus notes. Do we have inbuilt feature in outlook for this or we need to upgrade our outlook.

Pleas suggest.
Thanking You,
Hi,
When you say multiple profiles, I presume you are refering to having more than one exchange account? or that you want to open different exchange mailboxes for different users while loggin on to the network with a single user?
Yes. I require the same thing what you are referring to. please suggest.

Thanking You,
Unfortunately outlook doesn't support multiple exchange accounts under the same user profile. You would need to obtain 3rd party software. An alternative solution would be to use Outlook Web access http://[echange_server_IP]/exchange/[mailbox_name]/#
I want to open multiple mailboxes for differant users simultaneously while logged on to the network with a single user.
Please suggest.
Thanking You,
Hi,

You can't open multiple Outlook sessions in the way I think you are trying to do it. The closest thing you can do is to add permissions to the multiple mailboxes for the single user and then add the mailboxes as additional mailboxes.

Outlook 2003 - Adding Additional Mailboxes
http://ittraining.lse.ac.uk/Documentation/OnlineGuides/Adding-Additional-Mailboxes.htm
go to start > control panel > mail  > identification(profile) > add new mail
do not forget to check (ask for a profile each time) . then you can setup email account or more under each profile.

i think that will work for you as you are asking.

try it and i am waiting you reply.

otherwise we might look for another free email client that supports more than email account on the same machine using the same log in user.

note and references with screen images******************

what about having more than one profile as in

http://www.cod.edu/it/howdoi/profiles/

then adjust them like in.

http://www.askdavetaylor.com/microsoft_outlook_2003_configuring_multiple_accounts.html

taking in mind

with the selection of prompt for a profile to be used.

Hi,

I found that we can access mutliple mailboxes using add mailbox features by giving permissions. but that doesnt solve the purpose.

Lets take an example of an organizational sturcture:

I am working in x organization wherein I can check mails for this organization and even add multiple mailboxes of that x exchange server by giving permissions.

My customer is y at remote location and he has his exchange server at remote location which I need to access it from x office. we have a seperate link(router) through which we are connected to Y. at the client side from X office. we have choosen alternate IP for Y at the client systems. In this case can I use add multiple mailboxes feature to connect to the mailboxes of Y exchange server in my outllook in X office.
Do we need to add alternate DNS for Y office setup.

Please suggest.

Thanking You,
can you access the exchange server there ?

Yes,
I am able to access exchange server. We have a direct connection to our Y office. we configured an alternate IP address at client side.
Thanking You,
Have you tried to use pop3 to get the email?
