ADMT v3, after computer acc migrated, the  ADMT Tool Agent pre-check fails with "Unable to access ADMIN$".

If before running this, browse to the machine C$, it will prompt for password, enter the password, then re-run and ADMT tool agent will pass the pre-checks.

Trying to migrate the local user profiles from xp machines joined to the old domain (nt4) to a the new domain local profile (2003)

"Error Unable to access ADMIN$ share on the maxchine XXXX. Make sure the share exists and the account running ADMt is a member of the local administrators group on the machine XXXX."

Using a domain admin account.

Are you running ADMT from a machine in the new domain or the old one?

If you are running it in the new domain, what user are you running the tool as... the user logged into the new domain, or are you using RUNAS to start it with the credentials of an administrator on the old domain?

After adding the old domain admin acc to the built in Administrators group in AD, and adding the account to access through the network in Domain Controller Security policy -- this worked! Thankyou
Thanks man :)
