Did you have Proliant Support Pack installed on it? If yes, get in HP Systems management and from there you can check your cooling temperature, processor, storage.....

Did you have iLo installed on it? You can also check your system status through ILo management. Login and click on System Status on the left hand side.

What's ILO?
HP Integrated Lights-Out (iLO). This option becomes standard(free built in) for all new server, but it could be an option for your hp proliant ml 350 g3. Look in the back of your server, if you see an addition NIC port (named iLO), you have a built in one. HP remote management gives you virtual presence, i.e. complete control as if you were in front of servers in datacenters or remote sites. You can use ILO to manage your server hardware status, power on/off your server as hitting the power button manually. Here is ILO guide:

what noise do you hear?
Maybe open the box and see if its a noisy fan.
I thought he does not want to make an impact on production (power down or so) and it is not recommended to open the box while your server is up and running. If you think the fan is hitting some wire making that strangeous noise, you may want to schedule some down time to take a look in it.

hmmm!i've told in the question that i know the existence of support pack but it install java and other thousands agents and other.
i need to monitor server fan or other with a third party utility if it exist and i need to know if it could be a problem to use it on an hp sever like that
