How can I prevent a nusoap data transfer timing out due to large data size?

We have a web application that uses php / nusoap / wsdl / mssql.

One of the queries returns a dataset of approx 3,000 rows from a SQL server database. This equates to approximately 1MB of data.

The client eventually times out when trying to receive this data and returns zero results (not the actual 3,000)

Any ideas?

In the code that generates the response/result, try adding ...

<?php
set_time_limit(0);

at/near the top (or in a config/include file if you have one).

This will stop PHP from quitting after 30 seconds (the default time).

As far as I know, there is no easy way to capture a timeout (which would be ideal).
