asked on

what else is connecting as admin

I keep getting this message restoring master db.  I have stopped services etc.
LOGIN failed for user . Reason: server is in single user mode.  Only one administrator can connect at that time

Is there an easy way to find out what else is connecting as an admin?

you can check to see what sessions are logged in

select * from sys.dm_exec_sessions
where session_id > 50

check for admin accounts in the login_name column.
