I have a pix 501 at my office and at Cisco 851W wireless router at home. I want to setup a VPN from home to office between the two. what commands do i need to perform on the pix and the 851?

Have you tried the easy VPN Wizard in the PDM from the 501 to create the host, and then use the 851 wizard to connect to it.

I would need to know a bit about what VPN's to define and what level of protection you require...
Did you get Triple DES licensing with that 501?
Do you need to have NAT traversal to get through NAT routers?

You can have site-to-site VPN, which are normally on dedicated IP addresses and remote VPN from roaming addresses, which are you?

not really sure about the licensing on the 501. I currently have the 501 and another 501 setup with a site to site for a remote office, and I'm looking to do the same with the 851. The site where the 851 is does not have a static address.
does the site to site have a static IP? You may request one for the 851 if you want the same setup...
a site to site VPN is also configurable from the wizard, have you tried this?
We could fiddle around with your existing config if you would like to post, looks like you have specific addressing requirements with multiple VPN/routers...
Have you installed the PDM for the 501? What about the web setup on the 851 either?
When you have these two running, the VPN wizard will be straight forward, especially if you have done it before.
