Posting the fckeditor value to another page.

Hello Everyone.

I have downloaded, and successfully integrated the fckeditor into my .net application. My problem is that i dont know here to post the data if the editor is on a completely different page. The samples provided only show data being posted to the same page. How would i save the data to a different page?

Would it involve loading loading the actual page in memory and reading the file ? I'm quite lost on this one. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks

Use Server.Transfer to change the page and then access the post variables using

if(PreviousPage != null)
PreviousPage.YourProperty etc...

Try that,

Great explanation Andrew! Well Said.
I think i have some ground to work with.
Now, will the data persist on the new page. Or, will the data only be available for that current session?
When you say session?

When you Post to the page you will have access to the previous if available, I do not think it has to be a cross page postback for this to be available BUT, you can distinguish if it is a cross page postback for purposes.

Now, if you post back on the next page I think you will still have access to the previous page but off the top of my head I cannot confirm that.

Cheers for the points and grade :-)
