Hello CIPL-Senthil,

Generally it's a bad habit. You should place the images somewhere under your DocumentRoot of your website. However, if you insist, you could set-up a directory alias in your webserver. How to do that depends on which webserver you're using.

Dear favoretti,

can you please explain me clearly how to set-up a directory alias in my webserver.currently i am using JBoss application server.

Dear Senthil,

Unfortunately I lack on the part of JBoss. I will have to leave it to someone who knows the particular server. On the other hand, why do you want to have images outside of your site tree?
