Deploying software msi files

I am trying to deploy an msi file through group policy in Windows 2003.  I have it set up in Computer Configuration -> Software Settings -> Software installation.  For some reason though it's still not deploying.  I can deploy it through the User Configuration fine, however the software I'm trying to deploy has to go through Computer Configuration.

Does the share that has the msi file need to be able to be accessed from a guest user?  If so I have been trying to set up a null share on the server it is on and it's not working.  Does anyone else know why it wouldn't be working?

Take a look in the Application log on one of the target machines.  Windows Installer logs events if the install failed or succeeded.  This will help you determine if the problem is with the GPO or the installer.
