I need to connect a pix 501E0 to a comcast cable modem and E1 to a cisco 2900/2950 switch to allow INTERNET access for several workstations. I sending all that I know how to do.

I would like to be able to connect to the INTERNET from one of the device attached to the switch if possible.  can I do it with the configuration that I'm using.  If not, what else is left to do???

I don't have too much experience with the pix 501, especially connecting one to the INTERNET without a Border router.  I would appreciate any recommendation . Thanks
Issue the following commands:

no access-list inside_outbound_nat0_acl permit ip any
no global (outside) 1
no nat (inside) 1
nat (inside) 1

See if that allows you to get to the Internet from internal hosts...
I will try this solution tomorrow and let you know what happens.  thanks
I just need to know how to connect my switch to the pix E1 interface.  Without the switch, everything works fine.  Thanks a lot
The only thing I can think of is that you have VLAN's configured on the switch.  Can you post the switch configuration here and let's have a look?
I haven't configured the switch. I'm not sure as how to go about it?
After more research, I discovered that the pix 501 cannot do trunking.  So,  I guess that I cannot use my switch to connect to the 501.  If this is the case, is there another way to connect more  than 4 (the # of E1 ports available on the 501) to the 501?  I'm at a lost now
