Email dissapearing from Blackberry and Outlook

Someone sent a Blackberry user an e-mail earlier today and then again about 20 minutes ago.  His e-mail appeared in the inbox then showed up on the BB&  About 5-10 minutes later the e-mail was no longer in my Inbox and then disappeared from my BB.

No rules, no filters, not in the Junk-mail&

Please help.

The BB user has lost at least a dozen email over the week.

Is it possible that another user also has access to the mailbox and is cleaning the mailbox up?  If they do and they have the mailbox selected as a secondary mailbox, then any deletions they do will go into their PRIMARY mailbox deleted items, the BB server will see them as gone and will clean them from the device and the end user will not see them in their deleted items.  And as Sekhar has said, if mail is delivered into a PST instead of being stored in Exchange then the BB won't get them as the BB server is monitoring the Exchange server mailboxes directly.

His email is configued not to go into any pst but to stay on the server.  He uses cached mode ost, but not pst.

No one else is using his mailbox, he has sole access to it.

I can track the message being delivered properly, but I have no idea what happens after...
Oh and it's a configued BES, not using desktop software...

Hi I enabled 'Recover Deleted Items' and I saw an email dissapear from his inbox, and when we check the recover del items it was there!

I put it back in his inbox and it dissapeared again!

We have kaspersky antivirus workspace, but it doesn't seem to be doing it.

Is there any way to log exact what happens to the email in outlook/exchange?
Outlook 2003 does have the ability to do some diagnostic logging - see this page
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA011742661033.aspx

However, you might want to determine if it's a server or client related issue first.  If you close down Outlook and view the mailbox via the web interface and see if messages disappear you can find out if you are looking at a server or client issue.  If messages do not disappear the client is to blame - if they still disappear something on the server is the culprit.  Often it is down to the AV software - have you checked the logs for it to see if it is doing this?  It seems odd that you put the message back only for it to go again.  What if you put it back into a different folder completely? (in case something is only looking at the Inbox)
Turns out Kaspersky Anti-SPAM was the culprit.  It had been misconfigued to put junk in an second account the user was viewing (a shared sales email account viewed by multiple staff), not the user's exchange junk folder.

Changing the junk settings to point to his correct junk-folder solved the problem.
Thanks all!
