How to delay asp:menu expanding for a second after mouseover

I have an asp.net application that has an asp:menu across the top. I can't figure out how to delay the menu from expanding when it is moused over. I don't want it to display if the mouse does not sit on the menu item for at least a second.

Asp Menu has Property for Dynamic Appearance Timing...

One aspect of a dynamic menu is the amount of time it takes for the dynamically appearing portion of a menu to disappear. This value is configurable in milliseconds by adjusting the DisappearAfter property as follows:

[Visual Basic]

Menu.DisappearAfter = 1000

[C#]

Menu.DisappearAfter = 1000;

The default value is 500 milliseconds. If the value of DisappearAfter is set to 0, pausing outside of the Menu control causes it to disappear immediately. Setting the value to -1 indicates that the pause time should be infinite, and only by clicking outside of the Menu control will the dynamic portion vanish.

Thanks for the reply but that's not what I'm looking for.

The problem is not keeping the menu visible after mouseover, but rather keeping the dynamic menu from appearing for a specified time after mouse over.
If the mouse is moved over the menu now the dropdown portion of the menu is displayed, even if the user is simply moving the mouse to another part of the screen. I want to keep the menu static until the mouse has hovered on that item for about a second.

Thanks.
