Tabular ASP.net webform

Experts,
I am developing a webform in ASP.net which should have 2 tabs.  If I keep everything is one form then it's will be too lengthy and the users will have to scroll down a lot.  so I want to create a form that can be divided into 2 tabs but when submitted, data enry info from both tabs will be treated as coming from one form.

Please help me with .net code. or example to any coding sites that has concrete codes to create a tabular web form.

With ASP.NET 2.0, Microsoft AJAX, and the AJAX control toolkit, or with ASP.NET 3.5, you can create a TabContainer with TabPanel controls.

I copied AJAX piece in html and it give me this error in design mode
This control cannot be displayed because it's tagprefix is not registered with this webform.

<ajaxToolkit:TabContainer runat="server"
        OnClientActiveTabChanged="ClientFunction"
        Height="150px">
    <ajaxToolkit:TabPanel runat="server"
        HeaderText="Signature and Bio"
        <ContentTemplate>
            ...
        </ContentTemplate>
    />
</ajaxToolkit:TabContainer>

My asp.net is 1.1 not 2.0.  Can AJAX work in 1.1?
It's been too long for 1.1, but I do believe that AJAX won't work with 1.1.  It is too easy to upgrade to 2.0, though.

OK, I wil upgarde to 2.0 and try ajax.  Thx.
That won't necessarily be easy, but there are tools to help you migrate a 1.1 web site to 2.0:

in asp.net is there any other way to have tabs other than AJAX?
You could do it with a MultiView, but I don't like how it works.
