SMTP connector showing up for old server

I have recently switched to native mode in exchange 2003. There was one 5.5 server that was not removed correctly. I have gone in and removed it from all the spots I could find. It is no longer listed under connectors, ADSI EDIT.  But when I look at the Queues I see sh-mail (SMTP Connector). The server no longer exists but I have 200 messages in the queue and users are getting emails saying they have messages queued up for delivery. 2 part question, How do I get rid of the smtp connector for good? Can I reroute the messages currently in that queue?

Thanks for your help. It was very starnge it was for 2 users that were no longer with the company but they still had an email address but I guess they were on the old server but weren't removed before the server was brought down.
Thanks for the quick responses. I split the points.
