Messages sheduled by user to be sent at a future time will not go if Outlook is closed.

We have a user that schedules email to go out at future dates. He says that he use to be able to set these emails up and then close outlook and the emails would still go even if his outlook was closed. For some reason email that he schedules will no longer go out unless he has his outlook open. Is there a setting I am missing on the exchange servers or a missing outlook setting?

There is a message that pops up and says you have messages in your outbox that are waiting to be sent. Is there anyway to get rid of these messages when they try to exit Outlook. I think this might just be a perception issue.
No, there is no way you can get rid of this message. Sorry. It's by design this message pops up :-)

Regards Richard.
