Server does not see workstations

This morning when I came in I discovered that my server no longer sees the network computers.  When I go to My Network Places I click on the domain and once I double click on the domain and the domain opens I get no computers to show up.  Additionally, if I go to a computer in our domain they can see the domain and they see all computers on the domain EXCEPT the domain controller (the server).  I run DHCP, so the computers still are assigned IP addresses from this server.  If you search for the computer through the search function in windows you will see this computer and you can actually access everything on it, but it does not display in My Network Places.  Any ideas?

Any new software on the server?  Firewalls?  Antivirus software?

In answer to manferg, the server shows up on no one else's computer.  The other computers all show up on each others machines, but none of the machines on this domain see the server in My Network Places.  The only new thing installed on the server would be Windows Updates that were done last night.
The Windows Firewall is turned off on the server.  If I type in with the search option on an XP and search for the server I can see it.  I can even go to an internet browser and type in any path on that server and get to that path, but I cannot see that server in My Network Places.
Is it possible that Active Directory has become corrupt and has caused this?  I am just throwing that out as an additional question on this because I turned on our old server on Thursday and it is possible that it was trying to assume some of its old roles.  I know that we were cautioned against turning the server back on after we got a new DC, so is it possible that the old computer has corrupted something?  I have two domains (WESTMINSTER and WSCALIBRARY), actually and this new DC (WSCAL3 associated with WESTMINSTER) sees only one domain, but no computers, while the other computers see both domains and every computer on both domains except the DC (WSCAL3) on WESTMINSTER.  I have checked into all the NETBIOS information that people have given me, but I have not changed anything to my recollection.  Also, I am wondering if my DNS table could be bad and causing this issue.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Take a look at the link below reagrding FSMO roles.

also try flushing the DNS cache on the server and see if changes anything.
I have done as the above has stated and it didn't change anything.  Thank you for the quick response though.  I am guessing that it has nothing to do with DNS then or AD, but I could still be wrong.
Alright, to show my total ignorance on the subject, should my domain controller show up as a computer in Active Directory/ computers?

Thank you for that comment.  I am still completely puzzled as to the server not showing up in My Network Places, though.
Alright, that got fixed.  Through flushing dns and doing some things with NETBios it was resolved.  I even discovered, much to my disappointment that the network adapter had NETBios disabled, so you can call me any names you want for saying that solutions presented were wrong.  I thank everyone for their help.
Glad you got it resolved.
