How can we test whether it is a lease line ?

Hi
We have a internet connection ( lease line ) how can we check whether it is a lease line or ADSL or SDSL. How can we test the connection from confirmation point of view.
Thanks

you mean the only test is upload and download speed but as per my understanding SDSL also has the same feature and is much cheaper then LEASE LINE.
Now if a provider gives SDSL and charging for lease line then what ?
I am in Delhi ( India ) and cann't trust the providers much. So please guide me two or three major differences so that I can check that by my-self rather then trusting the provider.
Thanks

The only easy method is comparing the download speeds. You're not going to be able to tell the difference between a lease line and very fast ADSL / SDSL, though.
Please post your speed test results. A leased line usually has more equipment associated with it, ISDN or T1 etc will have extra equipment for terminating the connection or possibly something could be connected to the serial port of your router.
