Background cell properties are grayed out

Whenever I go to add a background to a cell on my webpage I notice that the cell properties background option is greyed out.  This has just started happening all of a sudden.  I did not do any changes to the pages.  I am using FrontPage 2003.

I did however switched back to using FrontPage extension after using ftp to upload my sites.  But that shouldn't cause this problem.  I tried creating a new website from a FrontPage template; new site, new page and I still cannot do a background.  I have attached the cell property of one of the pages.  Another note all of my pages that had a background on it prior to me going back to FrontPage extensions no longer has it's background anymore.  Could someone please help me with this.

Thanks - RM

I know FP is not running slow, but see if any of the options mentioned here: http://www.loudexpressions.com/2007/10/frontpage-is-running-slow will help.

Can you maybe provide the source code of the cell, etc if that does not help

Thank you so much for that. It worked!!!!  Actually I set my browser back to "custom" and was able to get back the ability to set backgrounds again.  Thanks again.  Maybe you can help me with my other issue I have outstanding which is FronPage related. Why dosen't my website go to my confirmation page after someone fills outs a form?  I have it posted on the site if you have time to look at it.  Thanks again... I wish I could give you 600 points for your help. --RM

Thanks again.
Hi,

the question https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/23205567/Why-doesn't-my-website-go-to-my-confirmation-page-after-someone-fills-out-a-form.html is to be deleted... Or not?

When I look at your page http://www.cervisys.com/get_quote.htm, I see, there _are_ some things in the code to purge...
