A long wire carries current . The wire is straight except for one square-shaped "half-loop" KLMN as shown.    Find the magnitude and the direction of the magnetic field  at point P. Assume that  is a known quantity.

well, your right! but the they question is completing step by step by program called Mastering Physics, and i already did the most part of the question, the part that i have problem is with finding the magnitude of the
B(net), in term of Permeability constant and (r)and (I) and (pi).
if you can help me with this i'll be appreciated

If you know what the field around a long straight wire looks like you are more than half way to the answer.
Can you write the equation for the field from a long staight wire as a function of the distance from the wire?
What is the direction of that field?
